General VA with Accounting Experience

We are looking for a dynamic Virtual Assistant who is available to start straight away. We would prefer someone with experience in accounting and administration. The VA’s duties will mostly involve data entry while maintaining financial records and reports, making reconciliations, helping with budgeting and closure processes, maintaining accounts payables documents, producing estimates and contracts, and executing general administrative tasks.
An outstanding Accounting VA should have excellent organizational & analytical skills; excellent communication skills both in oral and written as you will be working closely with Australian clients.

- Operate bookkeeping software. (Including tidy up existing chart of accounts)
- Data Entry
- Monthly account reconciliations for bank accounts and 30-day trading accounts.
- Prepare weekly wages for payment.
- Prepare monthly accounts for payment.
- Administration of building approval process
- Issuing POs & Subcontractor Agreement
- Compiling all documentation for approval
- Tracking the approval process
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Assist with office administration such has ordering from suppliers; filling out forms with personal information
- Support in house digital marketing such as doing research and data entry
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Preferably with 1 year (or more) customer service, accounting & virtual assistance experience
- Great English Communication (both spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping process and who enjoys a new challenge and will be happy to move onto other administrative/ business management tasks once the data entry and bookkeeping is running smoothly.
- Good computer skills with Excel, Word and CRM database
- Willing to learn & master new software tools such as Buildxact, Trello & Xero
- Friendly with confident phone manner
- Able to find information themselves and has initiative.
- Experience working in a multi-client environment and meeting compliance deadlines
- Must be a good team player
- Must be able to manage sensitive client information
- Must have a good and positive working attitude
