We are looking for an exceptional Operations & Finance Assistant to join our growing team and support multiple Australian businesses across finance, administration, HR, compliance, and property operations.

This is more than just an administrative role. You’ll become a key member of our team, helping drive efficiency, maintain compliance, support staff, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of several exciting businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Manage day-to-day finance administration, including Xero bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoices, customer billing, payment preparation, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
  • Support payroll, rostering, leave management, and employee records.
  • Assist with onboarding, HR administration, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate supplier administration, procurement, and operational records.
  • Maintain compliance registers, training records, and company documentation.
  • Support self-storage and commercial property administration.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support across multiple Australian businesses.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience as a General VA with background in bookkeeping, admin assistant, finance administration, or operations support.
  • Preferred degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Working knowledge of Xero (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with payroll administration is highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
